Do you clean houses in Brookfield, CT?
Despite the name Danbury House Cleaning Service we absolutely clean houses outside of Danbury, Connecticut. In fact we clean houses throughout Fairfield County. Brookfield is a lovely town bordering Candlewood Lake. Our Cleaning Van can be regularly spotted making it's rounds up and down Candlewood Lake Rd in Brookfield. Although, we'd much rather be relaxing at Down the Hatch we certainly spend a good amount of time with our clients in Brookfield.
How much does house cleaning cost on average?
The first clean is always the most expensive cleaning. We need to take more time during the first pass to do a deep clean and that usually takes much longer. Today I did a home in Brookfield, CT by St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church that was 2500 sq feet with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The deep clean took from 10am to almost 5pm. I charged the owner of the house $200 and his eyes lit up. He told me I should charge more, but to be honest I'd just like to be able to make a modest living. I used all my own cleaning supplies and my own vacuum cleaner. We can also use your cleaning supplies if you would prefer. Usually most of the jobs that I do on a regular basis in the Greater Danbury Area range from $100-$250.
How long does it take for you to clean a home?
The first clean always takes the longest. As I answered in the previous question the first cleaning can take anywhere between 3 hours for a smaller home or condo to 6-8 hour for a large house. We are very thorough and pay careful attention to detail when we're doing a deep cleaning. Our ladies pay careful attention every time, but the first time is always the hardest. We focus and use our time efficiently, but cleaning a home top to bottom does take a considerable amount of time.
I live in New Fairfield - do you travel up here to clean?
We've got many houses that we provide bi-weekly, monthly and bi-monthly cleaning on a regular basis throughout New Fairfield, CT. Many of which are found on Candlewood lake, but other's are not. New Fairfield is a beautiful town with squantz pond and their small center of town. We regularly travel on 37 up and down to I84 to keep all of our clients happy. We travel to many different parts of the Greater Danbury area including New Milford, Brookfield, Danbury, Bethel, New Fairfield and Ridgefield. Our cleaning ladies prefer to say in Connecticut and not venture into New York.
